Welcome to Anita's Garden

Anita's Garden is devoted to sharing information about living in harmony with nature (Holistic Health and Beauty). From planting, growing and harvesting your own herbs and spices to making you own bath soap, Anita's Garden will supply you with new ideas and helpful hints. The fulfillment that one gains by making their own products to be used by their entire family is immeasurable not to mention that you know exactly what goes into what you make.

The information and ideas contained in this web site can be used as an excuse to bring the family together. Everyone can have a part in creating something to be used by all. Children are quite capable of growing their own gardens and probably will not complain about the dirt under their nails. Imagine the look on a childs face when a friend gets a boo boo and they have the cure - made with their own hands. Or the pride you feel when someone tells you that the jelly you make is better than anything they have ever purchased in a store.

One of those big moments!!!!!

Congratulations Shayna Shugars Class of 2009!Time to stop and catch my breath. It seems like a heartbeat ago that I met my oldest child. You wait all that time in anticipation of their birth. It feels like an eternity. Not knowing that once you bring them into this world it would feel like your life was on fast forward. I don't seem to gauge my age by how old I am anymore but by how grown my children are. Shayna graduates high school in just a few weeks. No longer the little girl in pigtails chasing butterflies. Now she is a young woman on the verge of a whole new adventure. It has been such an honor to have helped her to reach this point. For those who are a part of her life you already know that she is amazing. She is intelligent, witty, sensitive, determined and loves nature. There is such a bitter sweetness to watching your children grow up. I am so proud of all she has already accomplished but so miss the little girl who showed me the world through enchanted eyes. Baby girl just know your mom really loves you alot!!!!!
